Obituary
MIDDLETON-Donna Turner passed away quietly on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in her home in Middleton, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her father, Emerson Turner, and her mother, Martha (Smith) Turner.
Donna was born on July 8, 1930 in Madison, Wisconsin. She was a true believer in the Christmas spirit and loved anything Santa. She could often be found enthralled in reading her catalogs, especially the Christmas editions. When she was not busy shopping, going out to eat, getting dressed up, or getting pampered with a new haircut or manicure, she would be spending quality time with friends and loved ones. Donna attended MARC RAC (Recreation and Arts Center). She was active in the Madison community where she could be found volunteering her time for causes such as Race for a Cure, serving as a Salvation Army Bell Ringer, and participating in other charities.
She had the support of a great group of people. She was loved by many and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all that knew her.
A gathering to celebrate the life of Donna Turner will be held on Saturday, February 11th and Sunday, February 12th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Heritage Senior Living (Community Room), 6206 Maywood Avenue in Middleton, Wisconsin. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

So sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I have thought of her often over the years and wondered how she was doing. We were a family that took care of her for a few year. I remember her LOVING catalogs and it didn't matter how many times she looked at them. She liked to point at items she like. May she rest in peace and she is finally with her loving parents once again.
