To Peter, Carolyn and Families - Condolences on Aagot's passing. But what a life! 106 years! I have so many, many wonderful memories of her.. Aagot was very dear to my Mom and Dad, and to our family, for so many years. There was never a truer, stronger, or more faithful friend. We will be in Iowa, with Beth's family, on the day of Aagot's funeral. But we will be thinking of you. This is a prayer that my Dad liked, and it seems fitting at this moment: "O Lord, support us all the day long, until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy word is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then in Thy mercy grant us a safe lodging, and a holy rest, and peace at the last; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." Thinking of you all, Jim Matson and Beth Robinson .
