Dot was a good friend. We met at a Dominic Club dance sometime in the mid 1950's in Madison. I knew right away that she was a special person, gentle and kind, someone to consider a friend. We continued our friendship, and enjoying lunches and other experiences. When I got married, Dot was my maid of honor and later the godmother of my first daughter Beth. As time went on, we tried to keep in touch with each other, sending birthday cards, Christmas cards, etc. When Beth called and told me that Dot had died from cancer, we were very sad. Now we ask God's blessings on a dear and special friend. We will miss her. Elizabeth Cowen and family.
