MADISON - Tim passed away on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, at the age of 62, after bravely enduring a prolonged battle with his health. Born on July 12, 1961, to Marilyn and Carl Steele, Tim brought joy and laughter to the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Tim's journey was not defined by his illnesses, but rather by his humor and tenacity. Throughout his life, he faced many challenges but was still able to find happiness in the simplest of moments. Tim loved to draw and create; his art was one of his passions.
Tim is survived by his loving family, including sister, Linda Steele; brothers David and Carl Steele; as well as a community of friends and caregivers who were touched by his remarkable spirit.
A service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 12:30 p,m. on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023. Tim will then be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park in Monona. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.

Though Tim may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in our hearts, reminding us to live each day with courage and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life. Rest in peace.
