Aunt Lessie was always one of our very favorite aunts. We enjoyed her witty and often hilarious accounts of her childhood and teenage years growing up in the household with ten siblings and "boarders". She never lost her sense of humor. Can you imagine her reunion with all the family members who have passed already? It. surely is a great picture in. my mind. Our mother's passing leaves a void that can't be filled. Please know that we understand and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dude's family by Carol Hawk.

I remember the loving and funny stories she told me when we had the chance to talk. most times she was working on a new quilt for a new baby or another family member. What I remember most is that they all (she and all her siblings) had and have this unspeakable joy, they rarely talked in their conversations; they just loved and laughed thru the phone like they were hugging everytime! That's amazing and to be that happy at 99. I hope im half the woman my family women have been thru the rest of my life! Praying for you all, Love , LaDonna (Gertie & Patty's girl)

Lessie was just like a butterfly were ever she would land there was smiles, laughing and giggles. Lessie and her siblings were a hoot of fun to be around. She was a good person. I know how it feels to lose someone close. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Patty' s Husband John Reising

What I remember most about Aunt Lessis is her great Burdine smile and how much devoted to her family she was. Not only to her husband and kids but to brothers and sisters. She traveled far to keep up with them and then I had an opportunity to know her, since my parents hardly traveled out of Batavia. She was a true Proverbs 31 lady .
