Randy Budd Riemen

CAMBRIDGE/MCFARLAND - Randy Budd Riemen, age 74, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, with family and dedicated caregivers by his side. He was born on Aug. 24, 1948, in Milwaukee, the son of Harry Riemen and Lorraine (Simonson) Ward.

Randy graduated from Central High School in 1966.  After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a medic until he was honorably discharged. Randy worked as a revenue agent for the State of Wisconsin, retiring in 2010, after 30 years of service.

Randy loved spending time with his family and friends. He took pleasure in boating, golfing and playing cards, especially sheepshead and cribbage. He was fond of sports cars and endless hours enjoying the sunshine on the Madison lakes and in Florida with his sister.

Randy is survived by his son, Brett (Leslie) Riemen; daughter, Lisa (Chad) Paley; granddaughters, Kayla, Kendall, Talia, Rilynn, and Brynnley; and sister, Roxanne (Jerry) McCarthy. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Riemen.

A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 12 noon on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022 with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. A private burial will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Cambridge.
