Carl was my favorite uncle and I'm very sad. I remember him, Barbara and Larry leaving our farm in Cottage Grove heading to California to milk of all things GOATS. They drove off in a big yellow car. It wasn't long before they came home. One more thing I always enjoyed Barbara singing the song she wrote for Carl "I MET HIM AT THE DANE COUNTY FAIR. Dad and Carl would always want her to sing 🎶.. This is a huge loss and it hurts I can't make it up there, but please know I loved this huge man. Barbara, I'm so very sorry but you know Carl is watching over you 💔 Larry and Peggy your dad was so proud of you two and trust me, he will be with you and watching 😘 Love Gail Redepenning-Nix
