Obituary
MADISON-Arnita R. Ready, age 88, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Capitol Lakes Health Center. She was born on March 13, 1929, in Reedsburg, Wis. Arnita married Robert F. Ready on Oct. 7, 1950. Bob preceded her in death on May 5, 1999, as well as her sister, Irene, in 2005. Arnita and Bob began their married life in Reedsburg, moving to Madison in 1959. She retired from her career with the State of Wisconsin in 1993. Surviving her are her wonderful nieces and nephews and their families. Arnita had many, many close friends, including Jane Lombardo, her husband, Rob and son, Dominic, along with dear friends, Beth Crea, Kara Yaeger and Dick Painter, who were very special to her. Arnita had such fond memories of her sweet Godchild, Kristina Holton. An Interment of cremated remains will be held at OAK HILL CEMETERY, in North Freedom, where she will remain in company of her husband, Bob. Arnita had a fondness and gift of writing letters to her family and friends. She had an infectious laugh and love for life. "Remember me with a smile - as this will be how I remember you." I was still able to hear her infectious laugh two weeks ago & I certainly will never forget it. We all have wonderful memories of Arnita to carry us through this adjustment without her. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Tom, Ryan and I were neighbors of Bob and Arnita on Marsh Road for many years. Have missed having them live next door. Arnita used to have Ryan over for baking sessions. She will be greatly missed by our family. No one of the old group are still around to have our "block parties".
