Obituary
Madison - Russell Irving Ray, age 76, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at The Koseling House. He was born on Aug. 20, 1945, in Madison, Wis., the son of Newell and Ethelyn (Hyatt) Ray.
Russell attended East High School. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Wisconsin teams. He enjoyed singing and riding his bike, but most of all, Russell just enjoyed life.
Russell is survived by seven sisters, Susan (Alvin) Krieger, Eleanore (Anthony) Cibulka, Ruth (Gary) Keller, Jeanette Paulson, Joleene (David) Hewitt, Rita (Brad) Johnson and Cheryl (Dennis) Davidson; and two brothers, the Rev. Paul (Agneta) Ray and Gordon (Betty) Ray. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Phillip Ray and James Ray.
A funeral service will be held at Gunderson East Funeral AND Cremation Care, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
