Fond memories of growing up with your family. Can still hear his voice even though it's been years since I heard it.

I remember him sitting in his recliner watching TV with an unfiltered Pall Mall in his mouth. Never took a drag, Just sat there with that cigarette in his mouth. The ash on the end got longer and longer until it fell on his shirt. He'd just brush it off. Us kids would yell at him. "Dad..!..your cigarette,,!"... It was great fun.

I have really good memories of Grandpa. He was sweet and funny and fun. He used to hook the wagon up to his riding lawn mower and pull us kids around the back yard. I’m not sure if he taught us this but I also remember we grandkids pumping each other up on his car jack in the driveway. Such fun! Grandpa pulled one of my loose teeth out with his pliers...apparently he was known for this particular skill and so the neighborhood kids would come to him. He liked to make things. I have a crayon stand he made me, a great simple design! I remember him watching cartoons and Shirley Temple, sometimes laying on the floor in front of the tv. He brought us buckets of KFC when we would visit. Somewhere I still have a little leather “Means Company” bag full of magnets he collected from his work and gave to me because I liked them. Being at Grandma and Grandpa’s house when we were growing up felt like home. I remember the feeling exactly, the kitchen, the little bedroom with the piano and all of Nancy’s fun makeup, the basement bar where we loved to pretend and drink sodas out of the little fridge. I’m thankful for those times, and cherish my memories of my Grandpa Prusaitis. Love and miss you, Grandpa.
