Obituary

MADISON - Joann “Jo” Pollock, age 76, of Madison, formerly of Milton, Wis., died peacefully on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at Chamomile Assisted Living.

 

Jo was a cosmetologist by training, spent a number of years in bartending in the Madison area and was a lab technician in her later years.

 

Jo is survived by her husband, Floyd Pollock; daughters, Dawn (Mark) Mortimer and Brenda Mosher (John Brown); grandchildren, Jake and Joey Gehrmann and Matthew and Megan Mortimer; sisters, Diana (Louis) Marquis and Sandra Ritchey; niece, Amy Ritchey; nephews, Chris (Tina) Ritchey and Eric (Katie) Ritchey; and a number of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Doris (Talbert) Frank; brothers, Arnold and George Jr. Frank, all of Milton, Wis.; and niece, Renee Marquis.

 

A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. There will be a celebration gathering afterward at BREAKWATER, 6308 Inland Way, Monona, Wis. Everyone is invited to toast to Jo and share their memories of her. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I am so sorry for your loss! I will always remember your mom and dad living upstairs from us and her giving us "rides" on the washing machine.

She was a wonderful lady I grew up on Wyoming way and became best friends with her daughter Brenda and she treated me like one of hers..lol we would get into trouble and she would scold me just like my parents would.I will miss her dearly❤️😢
