MADISON - Jacklyn E. Peters, age 83, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at Belmont Nursing Home. She was born on Feb. 7, 1938, in Madison, the daughter of William and Fern (Gulseth) Gernon. She married Kenneth Peters and lived on Madison’s south side.
Jacklyn worked as a CNA med-tech, finishing her work career at Attic Angel. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her pets, camping, road trips and an occasional visit to the casino.
Jacklyn is survived by her sons, Randall Peters and Mark Peters; stepdaughter, Dawn Peters; stepson, Todd Peters; and was grandmother of two, Sara and Brett Peters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth.
A celebration of life will be held at Gunderson East Funeral and Cremation Care, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 12 noon on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Memorials may be gifted in Jacklyn’s name to the American Stroke Association www.stroke.org.
