I didn't know Gertrude long working at angels a short time but it didn't take long to know she was a lady with her own mind that she was still the boss when it came to her life. Always sweet, and stole my heart. She reminded me of my mom too. The place is different without her.I know she is dancing on the clouds and happy to have joined the angels on Easter.

Mom, As I sat in my back room on Sunday evening enjoying the phlox and tiger lilies as the sun was beginning to set, a hummingbird appeared at the tiger lilies. It seemed to stay forever as if to tell me you are now are now at peace and with Daddy and your family you lost long ago. I hated watching you suffer, I knew you were in there but couldn't get out. I hope I see more of that lovely little hummingbird to let me know you are alright. I love you - your daughter, Sharon
