Arlene's family: I got to know Arlene when I worked at Liberty Trucking many moons ago when Jim was my boss.Thru the years I was in contact with Arlene & Jim after Liberty Trucking closed up. At one point I did not know what happened to Arlene. We would always exchange Christmas cards . Ann & I make calls from my parish and saw her in a facility in Madison. After that she was one we would visit regular..later she did not know us anymore but the last time I saw was Arlene In Sun Prairie about Thanksgiving-Christmas time...It was always a pleasure , Both your Mom and Dad were close to my Heart.. My Sympathy..

Jeff, Jennifer, John The Dick and Margie Bailey family extend our thoughts and prayers to you and your families. We all have such wonderful memories of celebrating holidays and family time with you and your mom and dad in our childhood years. Sadly as time passed the frequency of seeing each was extended but the memories have and will last forever. Your mom and dad were like second parents to us and we are so grateful for both of our parents showing us the love and value of extended family. I fondly remember the holiday feasts, the ping pong games in your basement and all the card games after dinner. Like all the Bailey's, your mom's laugh was distinctive and so characteristic of her and her fun loving siblings. We are so blessed to have parents and aunts and uncles that were so full of life, telling stories, laughing till you pee'd in your pants (which I remember your mother did on occasion) and pulling practical jokes on each other. It has been the foundation for our love of family. God bless your mom and dad for being such a loving aunt and uncle. Mark (Gregg, Nancy, Jane)

Dear Jeff, Jennifer, John and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My favorite memory of Aunt Arlene was being able to go fishing with her along with and Uncle Jim and John up in Ignace Ontario at Opa's and Oma's cottage. We have Krumkake every Christmas too. Think of you all, your cousin Dave Duckert

My dear Aunt Arlene possessed the humor, strength and graciousness of the whole Bailey clan. It's easy to see where the strength came from - descendants of Norwegian and German immigrants living a hard life - but the humor and love of laughter and fun? Who knows? Maybe it was a defense against poverty, chaos and The Great Depression. So many wonderful memories that will last forever. Mary Essick Bartolucci (Ida Bailey Essick's daughter)
