VERONA - Shirley Elizabeth Parisi, age 93, of Verona, passed away on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at Badger Prairie Health Care Center. She was born on Sept. 8, 1928, in Dodgeville, Wis., the daughter of Urban and Mabel Reger.
Shirley graduated from Mineral Point High School. She married Charles Parisi in 1950 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Madison.
She was a member of VFW Post #7591 Auxiliary and volunteered at the VA Hospital for over 25 years.
Shirley is survived by her son, Michael Richard (Rovelyn Lorezo) Parisi; two granddaughters, Gina Parisi and Nika Louise Parisi; grandson, Jonah Samuel Parisi; and close family friend, Steven Schwartz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Sammy Jo Parisi; father, Urban Reger; mother, Mabel Reger; and sister, Geneva Woolsey.
A private graveside service will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
