Marjorie was the epitome of all that is good in the world. I will miss her as a friend and fellow Marine. If it needed to be done she was there. Marjorie was instrumental in bring Marine Corps League member from Detachment 351 into the Military Order of Devil Dogs the Honor and Fun Society of the Marine Corps League. Goodbye my friend, I'll be seeing you at the gates one day. James Hooker Four Lakes Detachment 351 Adjutant

For as long as I have known her she was a soft spoken woman with a big heart. She helped me when we first started the Wayne D Horner Memorial Stand Down in 1993 and for many years after. She was in the Military Order of the Devil Dogs, the Honor and Fun Society of the Marine Corps League where she reached it's highest level of Pedigree. I extremely proud to call her friend. Rest well dear.

I have a fond memory of Marjorie seated near the podium during a Memorial Day ceremony at the Capitol, when a gust of wind scattered all the MC's notes. While everyone downwind went running for pages, Marje remained seated calming collecting pages near her with one foot while hold down those she had collected with her other foot. When I collected the errant pages from everyone, I notice Marje had hers collated! She will indeed be missed.
