Obituary
MADISON-Audeli Jesus Moroney, age 79, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Capitol Lakes Health Care Center. She was born on Dec. 22, 1939, in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua Atlantic Coast, the daughter of Luis Moroney and Matilde (Epifania) Gomez.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara and Neftali Delvie and Marta (Erick) Moroney; brother, Luis I. Moroney; Vidal Moroney; grandson, Michael Loney; and nieces, nephews and extended family. Audeli was preceded in death by her parents, Matilde Gomez and Luis Moroney.
A graveside service will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Dr., Monona, at 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 23, 2019. A reunion will follow at Gunderson East Funeral and Cremation Care, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 3:30 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

It seems like yesterday we were back in Nicaragua at the house near the warf where tia Audeli made her home. We had fun and interesting memories. She had a store and one of my favorite things to do (when she let me) was put the sugar or flour in the bags and weigh them. Sometimes she would let us have these pink rosquillas that were so good. I pray that she is free of pain, dancing and socializing like she loved to do!!!! Love you Goretti
