DeAnn was a wonderful person. The world would be a better plan with more DeAnn Moore’s in it. She was so kind and funny. She gave so much back to the Monona community. DeAnn was one of my mom’s closest friends. Condolences to the Moore family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Michelle Marking

Oh my sweet Aunt. Your sister (my Mom) and the whole Vasquez family misses you so very much. ❤️ I will never forget your amazing humor and the gift of making us smile even in hard times. I'm so very sorry I did not get to visit lately. But I appreciate all your prayers regarding the unexpected loss of our son recently. One funny memory I want to share was at my bridal shower 3 years ago. You gifted me a "shower cap" I was of course greatfull bit it took me a few days to get the joke. Will love and miss you immensely.

So sorry to hear about the loss of this wonderful person! Moore family, sending love to you all, I love your mom so much and hanging out at the Monona Fire Station for most of my childhood! Shamis was my favorite puppy to puppy-sit for. Love to you all from the Marking family in Monona.

DeAnn was a wonderful sister. She had real backbone. The feeling I have now is the same as when we were separated and farmed out to relatives in our youth. This was because our mother contracted tuberculosis and was confined to Lakeview Sanatorium. We could visit on Sundays and Mom could wave to us through a window. While the adults visited, we would carry on on the lawn. I was sitting in a deck chair and DeAnn was throwing croquet balls at me, which I was deflecting with my feet. However, one got through and caught me on the forehead. I still remember the stars! DeAnn had an uncanny ability to get a group of other children all moving together. Sometimes this movement was into collective trouble. She loved helping people as her work as an EMT and her nursing attest. I shall always thank God that I had her for a sister. She enriched my life.
