Obituary
MADISON-Mary A. "Dolly" Meysembourg, age 90, of Madison, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Belmont Nursing Home. She was born on July 26, 1926, in Rice Lake, Wis., the daughter of John and Theresa (Bauer) Oettinger. Mary graduated from Baron High School where she played basketball. She was united in marriage to J. Lloyd Meysembourg on Jan. 12, 1946. Dolly became a Gold Star Mother when she lost her son, Danny in the Vietnam War and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She loved gardening, sewing, and knitting, especially quilts, blankets, hats and mittens. Dolly is survived by her sons, Jerry (Kathi) Meysembourg, Mick Meysembourg, and Dave Meysembourg; daughter, Sandi (Dave Nyman) Stronach; daughter-in-law, Tami (Bob) Stark; 13 grandchildren, Tamara (Bill) Hoffman, Kim (Jace) Jontz, Emily (Sterling) McLeester, Joy Meysembourg, Nikki (Jason) Sauers, Dianna (Mike) Rogers, Debbie Meysembourg, Danny (Kelly) Meysembourg, Brianna (Martin) Gugov, Jamie (Dale) Ziegler, Danielle (Sean) Linton, Lucas (Kelly Quam) Stronach, and Cody Stronach; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Meysembourg; husband, J. Lloyd; her parents; and eight brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, with Father Michael Radowicz presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. http://www.alz.org. We are sorry for your loss. Our Grandparents (the Clementi's) lived on the other side of Ripp's garage in the Green Bush. Mother used to send my Sister and I to Dolly to have our hair braided when we were growing up, she did such a wonderful job for us. We truly remember Dolly, Danny and the Family.
