I'm so glad I visited Greta these last few years to tell her how special she was to me. I saw the family many times over the years but since Nancy died I thought of her even more. My parents built across the street from them in 1959. I would play with Nancy (Laurie was pretty young at the time), but we would pop in and out of each others homes and Greta could be seen ironing in the living room on a "HOT" summer day (no air conditioning) and watching a soap opera or listening to records on her red and white record player. I remember Mack the Knife playing on the 45 rpm record. The last time I visited her (May-June) I asked her if she knew where her records were. She didn't; but boy I would have liked to have had Mack the Knife as a memento. I thought she was such a cool mom! She even laid out in the sun with us. No matter what--she always seemed to chuckle and smile and take everything in stride. She was a strong woman. She will be missed. Peace Sue Pederson She called me Suzie (Davies) Sorry for your loss

Greta what a sweet neighbor you were. Sharing your love of the sugar gliders in the trees off of your front porch. Giving out Halloween candy to our kids and grandchildren. Bringing treats to the block parties. Always friendly and caring. You are missed. Dennis and Cheri Schmidt
