I want to extend my Deepest Sympathy to Shirley and all of Jack's Family. I knew Jack for years.. I first met Jack at a bus stop on Westfield Road in 1985, he was easy to talk to and open to conversation. In recent year’s I would talk with both Jack and Shirley at the YMCA. I will always remember how Jack and I loved to talk about history, especially military history as I did my work out.. Jack was a good friend. I will miss him a lot. Bob Lohr

My sincere sympathies to Shirley and the rest of Jack's family as they deal with the loss of husband, father, uncle, grandfather. I graduated from Monona Grove high school with Jack in 1962 and we were on the track team together and hung out as friends. In later years I only saw Jack and Shirley at our class reunions but it was always a pleasure to catch up with both of them on their lives. He will be missed by many but his memory will be with us forever. Herb Severson
