Patrick McDowell

MADISON - Patrick H. McDowell, age 68, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Badger Prairie Health Care Center. He was born on Nov. 7, 1953, in Fort Sheridan, Great Lakes, Ill., the son of Raymond and Rose (Promenschenkel) McDowell.

Patrick graduated from graduated LaFollette High School in 1971, where he was on the honor roll and a member of the wrestling team.

Patrick enjoyed riding his bike on a beautiful day and spending time with his family.

Patrick is survived by brothers, Michael McDowell and Dennis (Arlette Reible) McDowell; sisters, Theresa (Grant) Thomas and Danna Groom; nephew, Aaron McDowell; nieces, Tanya (Don) Pertzborn, Trisha McDowell and Heather (Shane) Pulvermacher. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Rose McDowell.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
 

The family wishes to thank the staff, especially Scott, from Badger Prairie for all of his help in Patrick’s last years of life.
