To all the McCarthy kids of Catherine and Larry, words can't express my sorrow to learn of your Mom's passing...... I've know your Mom since I was 14 and Deb and I were boyfriend and girlfriend..... Your Mom knew all of us Meier boys, as my brother Mike and Larry Jr. were high school buddy's at West High.... But the nicest and most touching memory of your Mom that I will keep with me until my time is up on earth, was on January 27, 1978 when Mike , Tom and I came out to Buds West for lunch and of course your Mom was working.... She had heard that our Mom passed from cancer at 51 years old the day before, and she hugged each and everyone of us and spoke to each of us like a true friend would do to give comfort.... I remember that hug and I cried like a baby, and being a 22 year old young wild man, that hug from your Mom will always be remembered and appreciated by me until the day I die.... She was a caring and loving lady that I since that day and even before looked to Catherine like a second Mom....... The world has lost a beautiful gem of a lady, And I will truly miss her..... I'm so very sorry for your loss...... You're with Larry and your family now, that has been waiting for you to come home, and I know they were so happy to greet you in Heaven Catherine.....
