McAdams, Harry F. MADISON - Harry F. McAdams, age 78, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Stoughton Hospital after a courageous battle with Alzheimers disease. He was born on Dec. 26, 1928, in Vincennes, Ind., the son of Harry and Pauline (Lang) McAdams. Harry married Mildred Bilskie on Aug. 6, 1949, in Vincennes, Ind. He moved to Wisconsin in 1967, and later moved to Illinois and Ohio, returning to Wisconsin in 1986. Harry was a general manager for Tuscarora Plastics until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed playing poker and collecting pennies. Harry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Harry is survived by his children, Lee (Nancy) McAdams of Madison, Pam (David) Sam of McFarland, Jean (Todd Hartman) McAdams of Reedsburg and Jeff (Tammy) McAdams of McFarland; grandchildren, Kevin (Jodi), Jerry (Kristy) and Eric Sam, James McAdams, Mallory and Kim Frye, Evan and Amy McAdams; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Kaitlyn Sam; and a brother, Larry (Jacqueline) McAdams of Albuquerque, N.M. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; parents; and sister, Linda McAdams. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 3 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, with Father John Meinholz presiding. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007. There was darkness and he found the light. There was gloom and he found happiness. God shone a light for him to follow And he took the path that led to an eternal brightness So he will not be left alone in the darkness. He is with his true love now and forever. And we will remember the way he used to be With all the giving he had to give To help us in any way he could. We will miss you Dad. You are at peace now.
