I will miss "our" Sam. I will miss him calling me "Tuchelle" because he couldn't say "Michelle". I will miss taking him to the movies and listening to his narration, "ha, ha, you missed!" when someone swung or shot and missed the good guy. I will miss the back and forth teasing, with him calling me "cupcake", and me calling him "pork chop". I will miss the sparkle in his eyes and the way his hands would dance delightfully around his face, when he was excited about something. Sam was very special to me and my family, and we will all miss him terribly. Helen, Vicki, Dan, Lionel and family, you were blessed to call him family, we were lucky to call him friend.

I am sorry to hear about Sammy. I always told Sammy he was like the brother I never had! Always loved his sense of humor and outlook on life. He will be missed by everyone who he touched their lives. I enjoyed knowing Sam's family and friends.

Uncle Sam was wonderful. I enjoyed our “you’re a nut!” Arguements, our excitement over Fiddler on the Roof, and our laughter at the thief in the Thief and the Cobbler. I admired his joy and loved his laughter. That man really loved grandma’s holiday meals... he always managed to get some on his face for dad (Lionel) to make fun of him about. It has been such a blessing to have him in our lives; he will be missed in the most fantastic way. Love you forever Uncle Nutty Bar.
