Obituary

MADISON - Ruth Alice Lundeberg, age 94, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Oak Park Place. She was born on Dec. 24, 1927, in Hardisty, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Clell and Susan (Wagnar) Devore.


Ruth attended school at Sacred Heart School in Sun Prairie.   She enjoyed doing crosswords, word searches and knitting.


Ruth is survived by her son, Howard (Sandy) Lundeberg Jr.; two daughters, Shirly (Dennis) Patterson and Racqual (Steve) Smith; three granddaughters, Wendy Patterson, Kimberly (Jeff) Nielsen and Sara Lundeberg; and four grandsons, Todd Patterson, Matthew (Jen Falcon) Lundeberg, Adam (Tanya) Smith and Aaron Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Howard.


A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
