Obituary
MADISON - Nola Jean Lendborg, age 91, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at Drumlin Reserve Memory Care. She was born on Aug. 5, 1932, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Michael and Violet (Johnson) Malloy.
Nola graduated from Madison East High School in 1952. She married Theodore Lendborg on July 18, 1952. Prior to retirement, Nola worked as a cashier for Walgreens for about 20 years. She was a longtime member of St. Dennis Catholic Church, and a past Women's Auxiliary Commander at VFW Post 1318, as well as a member of the color guard.
Nola enjoyed loved spending time with her grandsons, Jason and Jamey. She and her husband, Ted, used to love going on bus trips in the southern United States and traveling to Las Vegas.
Nola is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Kuske; son, Steve Lendborg; two grandsons, Jason (Jeanette) Kuske and Jamey (Ashley) Kuske; five great-grandchildren, Braeden, Kaeden, Logan, Grayson and Gavin; and nieces and nephew, Kelly, Michelle and Kevin Rucks. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon K. Rucks; husband, Theodore Frederick Lendborg; and nephew, Mike Rucks.
A private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
