MADISON-Milo W. King, Jr., age 80 of Madison passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016. He was born on Aug. 27, 1936, in Madison, the son of Milo W. and Ruth (Vivian) King. He is survived by his loving children, Debra (Lawrence) Babcock, Shawn (Keith Strade) Coffey, Kimberly (Dean) Carnahan, Heather (Steve) Hackl, Karen (Phil) Stumpe, Rhonda (Richard) Young, Jon (Melissa) Goke and Cindy (Bruce) Cox; sisters, Joyce (David) Auchtung, Bonnie (Edward) Pertzborn, Sandy King, Darlene Hislib and Judy (Marlin) Weisensel; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlene; and son, Jeff. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016. So sorry to hear of Jr's passing. I remember back when he was working on my Dad's farm as a hired man many, many years ago and again right after the Barneveld tornado when I found out he was on the crew that finished painted the water tower just a day or two before the town was wiped out. That was timing!! He was always such a kind man and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Crystal (Vivian) Straubhaar.
