Ann M. Krueger

MADISON-Ann M. Krueger, age 73, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at Belmont Nursing Home.  She was born on Oct. 6, 1944, in Merrill, Wis., the daughter of Alexander and Caroline (Wais) Froehlich.  Ann graduated from Merrill High School. She married Jerome "Jerry" Searing, they were together for 10 years before his passing and they were blessed with 2 daughters, Laurie and Lisa. She then married LaVern “Teddy” Krueger in 1975, they were blessed with 26 years of marriage before his passing. Ann provided in home day care to many children for 25 years. She made many lasting friendships with those families. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crafts, playing cards, old movies and cheering on the Packers. Ann loved and missed her cats, Topaz and Amelia. She was very proud of her grandchildren. Ann is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Jay Platta) Searing and Laurie Searing; her mother, Caroline Froehlich; grandson, Michael Platta; granddaughters, Alexis and Cystal Schlueter; sister, Kay (Norb) Duba; two sister-in-laws, Sally (Wayne deceased) Kyle, Jan Searing; five brother-in-laws, Tom (Carol) Searing, Dave Pawlowski, Elroy Krueger, Merlin (Patty) Krueger, Wayne Kyle; mother-in-law, LaVila Krueger; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jerome “Jerry” Searing and LaVern “Teddy” Krueger; father, Alexander Froehlich; brother-in-law, Richard Searing; sister-in-law, Phyllis Pawlowski; and father-in-law, Harvey Krueger. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave, Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018.
