Marcella "Sally" Krenz

OREGON / MONONA - Marcella Evelyn "Sally" Krenz, age 97, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1928, the daughter of Fred and Marcella Keller in Cazenovia, Wis.

Sally was united in marriage to Gilbert “Gib” Krenz in Cazenovia, Wis. in 1947. She worked for 37 years at Oscar Mayer, after retirement she continued to volunteer there with the Oscar Mayer “Ready” group for many years.

Sally enjoyed bowling, golfing, and gardening. She found joy in the shared experience and energy at sporting events as an usher and worker at Badgers football games, Kohl Center, and Coliseum events.

Sally is survived by her daughters, Diane Storck and Doreen (Tom) Schuchardt; son, David Krenz; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert “Gib” Krenz; parents, Fred and Marcella Keller; son-in-law, James Storck; siblings, Marvin, Leonard, Bernard, Marjorie, Arlene, and Jeanette.

Sally found a great friendship in a very kind man named Pat, who her family would like to thank for his kindness, concern and support. Special thanks to Monona EMS and St. Mary’s Hospital for the special kindness and caring they gave to Sally.
