Obituary
MADISON-Robert J. Kalrath, age 91, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017. He was born on Jan. 24, 1926, in Madison, the son of George and Helen Kalrath. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Robert worked at Dairy Equipment Co. for 36 years. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and will be remembered for his smile, care and concern for others. Robert is survived by his son, James Kalrath; two daughters, Jean (Mark) Seeley and Judy (Kerry) Woodbury; grandchildren, Amanda (Austin) Kiddoo, Andrew Seeley, and Amber Woodbury; great-grandson, Logan Robert Kiddoo; brother, William (Joan) Kalrath; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Frederickson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; great-grandson, Aaron Kiddoo; and sister, Gilma Sunderlage. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at GOOD SHEPHERD CATHOLIC PARISH AT ST. JAMES CHURCH, 1128 St. James Ct., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday Nov. 29, 2017, with Mnsgr. Thomas Baxter presiding. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or the Wisconsin Badger Honor Flight. We always had a good time talking with you when you came over next door. You had a great sense of humor and would always make all of us laugh. You would be getting a ride in the Cadillac or 57' Ford and would tell us "I don't know where I'm going. I just go where the car takes me", and we would all laugh. Will miss your chuckle and wit.

We will miss Uncle Bob, He was always there to greet us with a smile and was so gracious to us every time we stopped by for a visit. You entire family is in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of your dear father and grandfather. He is now in heaven reunited with your mom.
