I am a St. Luker who has known Betty for about 35-40 years. I love/d her ins so many ways. I used to tell her I wanted to be as spunky and honest as she has been, and yet as loving and wonderful as both she and Gloria Waite is. I adored her...I just can’t say enough about my very fond memories of her. I found her to always be honest, kind, forthright in her comments, and yet as genuine as a person can be. Rest In Peace, dear Betty...you will be missed but always loved. Nancy Endres

Betty was certainly a delightful person with a good sense of humor. We enjoyed talking to her at St. Luke's and working with her at fundraiser events, especially the Lots of Loot Sale. Betty lived next door to our close friends Larry and Mary Johnson, so we saw her often when we were over there as well. Over the years, some of us flower guild ladies would visit Betty. Praises to her for her long, fruitful, and giving life! Love, Dave and Randi Thorson

Aunt Betty was a re-cycler before it was a "thing." I always enjoyed the greeting cards she made from pictures from old cards and magazines. I also have a calendar she embroidered that had the months written in disposable ink so it could be reused over and over.
