Just a few words to say how wonderful a friend Bill was. We met in the Navy and remained friends for more than 60 years. We shared going to football games together in Iowa and Wisconsin and having other visits now and then. There were lots of cards and phone calls too. Love and hugs to all his family. During the numerous chats I had with Bill at GTE, I never became aware of his time in the US Navy and service during the Vietnam War. We thank Bill for his Naval Service. Diane and family, we are very sorry to read in the State Journal of Bill's recent passing. I have such fond memories of you and Bill attending many of the Stuckey Memorial Day Reunions and other Stuckey events. My parents thought so very highly of you both. Since my Dad's (Wilbur) passing, I'm sorry to say we've lost touch with a lot of family that were so much a part of our younger lives. We both want to extend our sincere sympathy.
