I played bridge with Ruth three or four times a number of years ago when my mother was alive. She was a very interesting and intelligent lady, and she sure knew how to play bridge. I know she was in a lot of pain at the time, but hardly complained at all.

We have fond memories of Ruth when we were fellow members of Trinity Lutheran where Jeff and I were confirmed. Our sympathies and love to Jeff and Godspeed to his mom.

My sympathy to the family. I used to play bridge with Ruth at The Monona Senior Center.

Ruth was our beloved next-door neighbor in Madison. She will be remembered for her big smile, quick wit, and can-do attitude. Ruth always made me feel at ease as her neighbor, allowing me to pitch to my dad from her driveway, sled down her front yard hill, or hit tennis balls on her roof for homerun derby :) After 30+ years as a neighbor and friend to my folks, it's no wonder why they considered her family. I feel honored to have known her and will remember her always. My deepest condolences to Ruth's family and friends.
