I worked with Kit in the mid 80’s at Goodwill. She was such a fine colleague to work with, kind and smart and good natured. Such a gem. All the best to her family.

I lost touch with Kit after my last visit with her in McFarland - but she was so often in my memories. We go back many years: being pen pals in grade school and then sharing an apt with Kit and 4 others at the UW. Because of Kit, I have ties to Chetek. She was a classmate of my husband in Chetek - she provided the music for our wedding - so many memories. Be at peace now Kit - I love you.

I am so sorry to hear about Kit's passing, and of her struggle with Alzheimer's. She was a good woman. May she be at peace. Sending strength and comfort to your family.

During the 1962-63 school year, Kit was my roommate in an apartment with 4 others. What a great gal. She grew up on a dairy farm as I did and also carried 4-H projects of dairy and sewing like me. The fair was our vacation, especially taking cattle to the State Fair. She was born 1 day ahead of me. Very sorry she suffered from Alzheimer's disease; such a cruel problem. Your family was so important to her, Camilla. She would be a wonderful Mother and Grandmother. Kit made the world a better place. I have good memories of her. My sincere sympathy to all of you; very sorry for your loss. Linda Wilkins Martin

Kit was a schoolmate for many in our family at the one-room East Dovre School. Fond memories there and then riding the bus to Chetek High School. Dovre Lutheran Church and Luther League activities were also part of our shared backgrounds. She was an outstanding student, a fine artist and an accomplished musician as well. My husband, Mason Davis , was in the same 4-H club and both of their families "showed" Jersey cattle, often champions in the respective categories. Many good connections were revisited when Kit visited us in Eugene around 45 years ago. And now peace. Lorraine Moe Davis
