Howard Herbeck

RENO, NEV-Howard G. Herbeck, age 96, of Reno, Nev. passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. He was born on Nov. 8, 1920, in the Township of Hampden, the son of Gust and Ruth (Mathison) Herbeck. Howard retired from Gisholt Machine and served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his children, Gary (Linda) Herbeck of Reno, Nev., and Debra (James) Woeber of Decatur, Ala.; grandchildren, Michelle (Allen) Travens of Reno, Nev., Brian (Laura) Woeber of Kapolei, Hawaii, and Mindy (Todd) Parker of Decatur, Ala.; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Leroy Herbeck of Phoenix, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Gladys Ballard, Irene Bouzek, and Richard Herbeck. Funeral Services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison at 12 Noon on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens.
