MADISON-Joan F. Gorman, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017. She was born on Jan. 1, 1937, in Cross Plains, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Buechner. Joan was well known in the insurance industry. She loved music, dancing and most of all, spending time with her family. Joan is survived by her children, Debbie Murray, Mike (Toni) Gorman, Jeff (Cathy) Gorman, Teresa Gorman and Doug Gorman; grandchildren, Shawn (Becky), Jordan, Devin, Travis (Danielle), Danielle, Shannon, Erin (Brad), Justin (Erin), Ryan (Amie), Sarah, August, Stacey, Nicole, Samantha, Crystal, Tabitha (Rusty), Cameron, Alex and Maria; 25 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bud (Jane) Burdick and Judy (Dewey) Adreon; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Gorman; and grandson, Troy Gorman. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 12 noon on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
