Frances L. Gile "Babe"

SUN PRAIRIE - Frances L. Gile, age 91, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, at New Perspective Senior Living. She was born on Nov. 1, 1930, in Park Falls, Wis., the daughter of Lawrence Steven and Gladys (Perry) Kulikowski.

Frances graduated from Park Falls High School and worked at Park Falls Paper Mill.  She moved to Madison and worked at Oscar Mayer. She was saving her money to move to Hawaii but then she met Robert William Gile. They were married and started their family, Gail, Janice, Carol and Robert. Frances enjoyed music, crafts, reading and puzzles.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Gail (Jeffrey) Stitgen, Janice (Jerry) Hughes and Carol (John) Gile Marx; son, Robert (Bernadette) Gile; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; and sisters, Della Patrick and Mary Buechner.
