Obituary

Ralph W. Haak passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday morning, Sept 6, 2023, with his wife of 42 years Jeana at his side. Ralph was a large man with a large personality.

Ralph was raised by Wilma and George Colvin, his grandparents. He later had contact with his biological mother Ruby Friis and stepfather Paul Friis.

Ralph was employed for 37 years by Ambles Landscaping and A & L Landscaping. After retirement Ralph enjoyed going up to his trailer in Adams County. Among other things, he enjoyed wood working, playing pool, riding his motorcycle, and the occasional euchre game with friends and family.

Ralph enjoyed visiting with friends and family such as brother, Richard and his wife Karen; half-brother, Charles; uncle, Marvin; and sister, Karen. He also enjoyed the company of cousins, Steven, Susan, and Randall; in-laws, Sara and Ron, Rose and Dave, Nick and Laura, and Carlo and Jill; and many nieces and nephews. He always missed his dog Chancie.

The family would like to thank all Ralphs friends and neighbors, especially Mark, Glenn, and Godson Tony, along with the caring staff at Agrace.

Ralph will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Arena Cemetery.
