SPRING GREEN-Randi Vaksin Gundersen, age 99, of Spring Green, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born on February 17, 1918, in Oslo, Norway the daughter of Conrad and Anna (Skovli) Mohn. She married Finn Gundersen on April 4, 1952. He preceded her in death in 1975. Randi was employed with General Telephone in Sun Prairie for 18 yrs. before joining the State of Wi.-Dept. of Revenue. Randi is survived by her daughter, Anna (Jim) Bakken; Granddaughter, Melissa Myhr; Grandson, Brandon Myhr; Great Grandson, Brandon Myhr; Great Granddaughters, Angelina Myhr and Cassidy Myhr and her two nephews, Hans Petter Mohn, Gunnars Mohn and their families. Funeral services will be held at Gunderson East Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Dr, Madison, at 11:00 am on Monday January 15, 2018. Private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Randi had a lovely smile and a great sense of humor. Thank you for letting the staff at Greenway be a part of her life. As being neighbors when Randi was living with Ann and Jim, I remember Randi driving her car and barely seeing her head above the steering wheel. Randi may have been small but she had a lot of humph!!!!!!! I wouldn't be surprised if she is skiing right now!!!!!!!!!
