Gary Lee Frederickson

OREGON-Gary Lee Frederickson, age 78, of Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at Nazareth Health and Rehabilitation in Stoughton.  He was born on June 5, 1939, in Madison, the son of Harvey and Evelyn (Schmid) Frederickson.  Gary served in the U.S. Army for a short time. He owned Frederickson Sinclair Service before going to work at AMPI for 30 years until they closed.  After AMPI closed he went to work for Mandt Trucking.  Gary enjoyed collecting John Deere lawn and garden tractors, and camping.  He was a loving dad and grandpa and will be deeply missed.  Gary is survived by his children, Dee Rawlins, Lori Denson, Lee (Chris) and Aaron (Emily); grandchildren, Erick (Rachel) and Tyler Stevens, Jessica (Kent) Denson Myhre, Sam and Audra Frederickson and Aidan, Harper and Camden Frederickson; great-grandchildren, Tyler Jr., Annabell and Daniel Stevens; siblings, Norm (Coco Sickinger) Schmid, Marvin (Nikki) Schmid, Arlene (Darrell) Ace and Lorraine Frederickson; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin; grandson, Daniel Stevens; son-in-law, Steve Denson; and brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Evalyn Schmid.  A Life Celebration will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park Street, Oregon, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018.
