Obituary
MADISON - Beverly Ann Faga, age 82, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026. She was born on May 17, 1944, in Madison, the daughter of Glen and Helen (Bradt) Bahl.
Beverly graduated from Craig High School in Janesville, Wisc. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Faga on July 10, 1982. Beverly worked as director of Student Services for Herzing University, formerly Wisconsin School of Electronics for 42 years, retiring in May of 2010.
Beverly found joy in traveling, going out to eat, and celebrating life's special moments with family and friends. Her favorite getaway was her beloved place in St. Germain, where she enjoyed peaceful pontoon rides and treasured time spent with loved ones.
Beverly is survived by her five children, Craig (Janice) Faga, Brian (Denise Carlson) Patt, Curt (Sue) Faga, Brenda (Marty) McMiller, and Cheryl Nelson; 10 grandchildren, Jason (Rachel) Faga, Alecka (Andy) Weber, Cody (Bailey) Nelson, Ryan (Chloe) Faga, Austin Nelson, Meagan (Adam) Tiran, Wade Nelson, and Alexander, Ariana and Marissa McMiller; great-grandchildren, Allison, Mabel, Vinnie, Jack, Calvin, Sophie, Ben and Paisleigh; sister, Barb (Jerry) Muetzel; nephew, Mike (Sandy) Muetzel and their children, Austin and Lauren Muetzel; nephew, Matt (Tammy) Muetzel and their daughter, Jessica; cousin, Carole Nowlen and her daughters, Lynn (Jim) Cleven and Kathy Rittmeyer and their families; and special friend, Jim Ely. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; parents, and her special travel companion, Dee Patt.
A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday October 3, 2026, with the Rev. Glen Reichelderfer presiding. A luncheon will be held, following the service. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
