The four of us: Jack, John, Ken and Al enjoyed "raiding" the Norbatin N. Garden and eating a watermelon down on the pier of Johns. We played ball in the empty lot by John R.'s home . Rest in peace old friend and say hi to my sister. Al Martin

Jack was a beloved member of The Wintergreen and Devils Head Ski Patrols as well as Nordic Patrols at Wintergreen and Blue Mounds. Affectionately referred to as "Grandma", he was always fun to ski and party with. Jack was like a brother to many of the patrollers. He was a good man and a consummate volunteer. He made life better for those you became his friend. RIP Jack. Don Davidson, Patroller Director, Wintergreen and Devils Head Ski Patrols

I always called him my Uncle Jack because he always stopped in to see me at the plumbing shop. As a 7 year old he and my uncle doug and his other friend willy would take me water skiing and sailboating. A lot of fun memories
