Donna M DeVoe

MADISON - Donna Mae DeVoe, age 80, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on Dec. 9, 1943, in Washington D.C., the daughter of Emory and Agnes (Hebel) Jasper.

Donna graduated from Wisconsin High School in 1962 and later from Madison College. Donna worked for the U.S. Soil Conservation Service for 25 years. After retirement, she worked part-time at Shopko and Walmart.

Donna enjoyed playing cards, games and watching movies with her friends, along with the companionship of her cats and dogs throughout her life.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Sergio) Lopez; stepdaughter, Linda DeVoe; seven grandchildren, Jason DeVoe, Brandon Patterson, Nathan (Krista) Hyde, Zachary (Andrea) Hyde, Amber (Kyle) Dabbs, Alicia Patterson and Baronna (Anthony) Patterson-Younger; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Agnes; sister, Barbara Jasper; daughter, Robyn DeVoe; and stepson, Eugene DeVoe.

A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 10 a.m. until the start of a brief service at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Entombment will be private at Highland Memory Gardens.
