She was born on Jan. 2, 1929, in Hartford, Wis., the daughter of Robert and Anni (Brammer) Martin. Betty was a 1946 graduate of Custer High School in Milwaukee. She was united in marriage to Jerry Minash in 1948, and together were blessed with twin sons, Michael and Keith, and a daughter, Lynn. Betty was a woman of giving heart. She volunteered at the Monona Coalition for the Aging, knitted caps for premature babies, was a volunteer at Monona Heritage Store, and was always helping others in need. Betty was an active member of Monona Evangelical Lutheran Church. She will be greatly missed by all her friends at Monona Heritage, who regularly got together for evenings of fun. Betty loved her family and her grandchildren always brought a smile to her face.
