Grandpa, you are so special to me. I am heartbroken to have to let you go, but I am happy that you will get to see your family again. You have always been so patient and kind, you have taught me so many skills and lessons, and you have entertained us with your tricks, bird whistles, harmonica and piano playing, and stories. I am so thankful that you are my grandfather, I wouldn't have it any other way. I know I will see you again. From your youngest grandchild, I love you.

To you and your family, Doreen, my deepest sympathy. Marvin always enjoyed visiting with Elwood at their class reunions and breakfasts.

My Dad was the most wonderful man anyone could have ever known. He once said when he came home from the war (WWII) that he would live his life to the fullest and that is what he did. My dad was there when I was born and I was there with him when he died. He is with his family now in heaven. One day I will be back in his arms. But until then I have to live my life to the fullest just like he did.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Elwood. I remember him so well as I was growing up across the street from your family. I remember babysitting for the kids when Doreen was learning to drive. But, most of all I remember what a kind and thoughtful man he was to my Mother, Muriel Bowers, in her older years. He and Dennis always had time to help her out with yard work or handyman work around her home. He was truly a lovely man. May he Rest In Peace. Nancy Bowers Boyd
