David Allan Crary

David was a very talented singer. He was very generous and good hearted. He and I used to talk about how we were 2 of the 5 oldest in our class. He had a great sense of humor. The last time we visited at Our class of 1969's' 65th birthday party we had such a great visit. He will be sorely missed. May God go with you David. You sure were God's gift to us. Oh, Adele, and family, we are so very sorry to read this. Dave was such a kind, gentle and special man. We shall always remember him for being such a wonderful worker, fasting cinnamon rolls early in the morning! His smile was always so open and friendly! We will be out of town and cannot visit you now. We will see you in the future. Thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Dave...where to begin...I initially think of laughing and joking around with a big smile on his face...usually the joke at my own expense! As a kid I remember loving get to come to Madison to the house--getting to play video games with Luke and Jake and shooting Nerf guns! They are like the older brothers I never wanted, but grew to love. And you, the Uncle making fun of us kids for some reason or another! I can recall camping trips-- you always had the coolest gadgets! I laugh to myself writing this that you and Adele let me live with you my first year of college! Not having any daughters, I can imagine what my 18 year old self was like as a "roommate." I recall watching movies with you, cheering on the Packers and Badgers, and you having some smart remark ready for me when I came home from class or work. Honestly though it was a great year getting accustomed to Madison and comforting having another set of "parents." I thank you and your family for being a part of Kyle and I's special day, I remember when I asked you to say the prayer before supper and your reaction was something of: "Oh, are you sure you want to give me the microphone?"....a mischievous look was on your face! But, I knew when the time came you would truly make it meaningful to us. I am not sure now how I will go through all the dilly beans I have canned in the basement, I will have to start drinking more Bloody Marys! You will be missed by all of us so much. I know that by God's grace you are at peace and you, Grandma & Grandpa, and Therese are together--I can just see a Sunday afternoon watching the Packers, playing Euchre with a Bloody Mary!

Adele and family, I am very sad to hear of Dave's passing and sending all of you sympathy, prayers and love. I'll always remember his singing especially when he called on my 60th birthday and sang Happy Birthday to me. Love to all, Gail Greuel
