Clarice Jeanette Chrisler

MADISON - Clarice Jeanette Chrisler, age 103, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Oak Park Place. She was born on Dec. 20, 1917, in Stoughton, the daughter of John Lund and Hannah (Quam) Lund. Clarice graduated from Stoughton High School. She married Kiron Chrisler on July 9, 1955. Clarice was a lady who enjoyed the simple things in life. She enjoyed baking, reading, quilting and watching Jeopardy every day. Mostly, Clarice loved to visit with her children and all of her grandchildren. Clarice is survived by sons, Jon (Kathy) Chrisler and Scott (Julie) Chrisler; daughter, Pam (Bob) Johnson; daughter-in-law, Gail Chrisler; grandsons, Steven Heren, Todd (Kristen) Chrisler, Andrew Chrisler and Alex Chrisler; granddaughters, Wendy (Brian) Harris, Carla (Tim) Clemens, Chelsie Chrisler and Lindsay (Mark) Murphy; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; niece, Ann (Craig) Chiaverotti; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Richard Rosenberger; daughter, Mary Rosenberger; husband, Kiron Chrisler; son, Keith Chrisler; brother, Oscar Lund; and sisters, Audrey Lund and Elizabeth (Mervin) Burtness. A private burial will be held at Eastside Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
