Mary A. Christenson

STOUGHTON/OREGON-Mary A. Christenson, age 74, of Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Oregon Manor. She was born on June 15, 1944, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Rosella (Copus) Miller. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother with fierce independence who took great pride and joy in caring for her family. She was a very proud supporter of the Norwegian Dancers. Mary developed a strong work ethic at a young age and enjoyed raising her children on a farm. She was a talented sewer and enjoyed creating crafts. Mary was HGTV before it was HGTV. She enjoyed traveling and had wonderful opportunities to see many states and enjoy the cultures that each could offer. Mary is survived by her son, Erik (Jessica) Christenson; daughter, Sarah Moran; grandchildren, Owen and Ivan Christenson and Belden, Afton and Evelyn Moran.
