We did not get to meet this man. He sounds like a great man and had a wonderful life. He is the grandfather of our daughter-in-law. We want to let you all know how sorry we are for your loss and that our prayer and thoughts are with you all. Delbert, Lori, Beth and Kendall DeMoss

Although we did not have the privilege of meeting Lorran, we wanted to extend our thoughts and prayers from our family to his family, especially Tom, Ryan, Tony and Lindsay. We were friends and neighbors in Monona with them. We also thank Lorran for his service to our country. Carmen Reeder (Balczewski) Carol Balczewski Dennis Balczewski

Lorran stands out in my memories with him as an extremely kind and friendly person. He was very easy to talk to and seemed to have a permanent smile that never seemed faked, a genuinely happy persona. His resume speaks for itself with service to our country, many students and organizations. He lives on through friends, family and anyone whom made contact with his wholesome presence. Tiffannie (my wife) and I enjoy playing cribbage on the board that Lorran made for us (quality craftsmanship!) God bless Lorran, Lynn and the rest of the family. -Jeremy Saueressig
